Zandi International, Inc. (“Zandi Rugs”) is a Persian art Corporation of the Iranian State, established to support Rug, Kilim, and Handicraft making experts in the production only the finest rugs and gifts worldwide. 

Established in 1955 as a family business primarily dealing in Persian handicrafts and Kilims, the company continued to prosper through its support of the arts community.  By 1975 Zandi Rugs had expanded sales internationally, dealing in Persian Hand Knotted Rugs, handicraft manufacturing, and rug cleaning and repair.  Today a fully integrated entity involved in manufacturing, wholesaling, exporting and retailing, Zandi Rugs serves its customers through branch outlets throughout the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and North America.

SERVICES

• Appraisals:  With over 50 years in the manufacturing and procurement business, Zandi is among the few Certified Rug Appraisers in the United States, Canada, and Europe. We offer appraisals at any of our retail locations as a complimentary service to all Trade professionals.  We also provide certified appraisals for Insurance, Legal, Auction, and Retail purposes upon request for a reasonable fee. 

• Cleaning: We provide hand-cleaning (with conditioning) services for all rugs and carpets.  As a manufacturer, we know and understand the proper methods for maintaining and preserving your rugs.  As a trusted and skilled professional rug cleaner, we will ensure that the richness of color and softness of the wool will be enhanced and maintained.  A professional washing should be conducted at least once every four years, depending on the usage and foot traffic.

• Consignment:  We accept rugs on consignment for sale or trade, and as Certified Appraisers we offer honest and fair market value assessments.

• Acquisitions:  Our expert team is always looking for quality product to meet the high demand of the global market.  If you have a rug and are considering selling it, contact our sales department today.

• Repairs:  We provide cost effective maintenance for the fringe, sides and field of the rug. Estimates are complimentary and are done quickly.  As a manufacturer, only we know the proper way of repairing any damage to a given rug to preserve the original design and ultimate value of each item. 

• Restoration:  We provide expert re-weaving, as our manufacturing facilities are filled with artisans and craftsmen who intimately know and understand the art of Persian and Oriental rug weaving.  This service is available to collectors and commercial accounts. Professional restoration can solve virtually any condition that may have impacted a rug. Antique rugs, when worn down considerably, need to be rewoven to restore them to life.
